The Early Days
My journey began at 16, when I joined The Lowry Hotel in Manchester as a fresh-faced graduate from culinary school. Working under seasoned chefs, I quickly realized that the world of pastry was both an art and a science—a blend of precision, creativity, and an unyielding pursuit of perfection.
A Defining Moment
At 20, I had the incredible opportunity to compete in "Bake Off: The Professionals." It was a pivotal experience that opened my eyes to the vast talent and innovation in the industry. This competition reignited my passion and led me to London, where I joined the prestigious team at The Dorchester Hotel.
A Culinary Adventure in New York
Eager to expand my horizons, I moved to New York City, a place where culinary traditions and cutting-edge trends converge. In Manhattan’s elite restaurants, I embraced new challenges and discovered the endless possibilities of flavor and presentation.

Returning to London with a wealth of experience and a vision in mind, I launched Pastry by Sanjam—a venture that brings the luxury and sophistication of world-class patisseries to events and gatherings.
